There are a total of 2250 NFTs priced at 2 AVAX each (Enlistment Passes will be able to mint 1 Mechavax NFT at a discounted price of 1 AVAX).
There are currently 270 Enlistment Passes, which have the following functionality:
Access to exclusive auctions of Legendary 1:1 NFTs created by guest artists.
Exclusive airdrops
Discounted mint price (1 AVAX); limited to one per Enlistment Pass.
Guaranteed mint; each Enlistment Pass will have one Mechavax NFT set aside for it indefinitely.
Membership in a private discord channel
Allowlist for future Mechavax and Cradle projects
Also allowlisted to mint 3 Mechavax NFTs before the public at regular cost.
On the project's website (Mechavax.com), you can burn your Enlistment Pass and simultaneously receive a Pilot License and your discounted Mechavax NFT.
After minting out 63% of the Mechavax Tickets on Joepegs in the launchpad week, we decided to migrate contracts and continue the mint on Mechavax.com. This mint will be open for a set period of time, and will be open to the public with no wallet restrictions. If we do not sell out during this new allotted time period, we will take all the remaining Mechavax and burn them during the first Ascended Dutch auction.
If you are familiar with TCGs (Trading Card Games) like Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, or Yu-Gi-Oh, this format should be easy to digest.
DMGs (Daomyo Manufactured Goods) are Mods or Modifications made specifically for Mechavax units to help make them “Battle Ready”. Mechavax NFTs will need to have this status to be able to enter into PvE, PvP, or stake underneath an Ascendant.
The only way to be able to buy DMG Mods will be through Armaments, which have been transitioned into a currency. The original Art Gobbler design is beautiful, but allows for little to no oversight over art or game design, so we "fixed" it by turning it into a currency. Armaments that are minted via SHK will be used as a currency to buy DMG Mods. These NFTs will be available via Dutch auctions, open to the public, and will be traded on the secondary market afterwards.
DMG Mods will be NFTs with bespoke art in an edition format. Each DMG will be a limited run NFTs with unique art. DMGs will modify each of the main stats as a static modifier while also providing access to elemental damage, which will play into one of the core gameplay features of Mechavax. It will be a Pokémon-eque typing system, in which certain elements will be stronger or weaker against others.
DMGs are also going to be viewable in the Hangar 2.0 tab, which will be somewhat similar to a World of Warcraft character screen where you can view your attached DMG NFTs.
DMG Mods will have two different types:
System/Weapon Upgrades:
These DMG Mods will either modify the Physical Attack or Defense of a Mechavax NFT for PvE and PvP fighting. Sometimes, rarer mods will give access to both. There will be no limit to how many of both of these mods can be applied. The only restriction is that you cannot apply more than one of each type.
Spells/Fighting Styles:
Only TWO of these type of mods may be equipped on a single Mechavax NFT at any time. Fighting Style DMG Mods will give the Mechavax access to Elemental Magic and teach the pilots how to use it in combat.
These mods will have a specific release system. A set is 10 identical NFT collections (or Packs, like a pack of cards) spread out over a period of time to make sure that the in-game economy is not crashed, while also giving people the opportunity to mint DMG mods.
After a pack is minted out, the contents will be revealed and the next Dutch auction will start within 48 hours. There are 10 Packs in a Set, each has identical contents.
DMG auctions are spaced out as to not destroy the ARM/SHK economy. Each NFT will have a unique token ID# but art and stat modifiers will be copied.

Hopium (HPM): Our soulbound token for gamification
The token Hopium (HPM) will be soulbound to make sure its sole use is for you reach the threshold for certain rewards and future mints. It will be untradable and useless outside of our ecosystem, and cannot be used as a source of liquidity. We believe that everyone should be on an even playing field, and would like to reward those that participate in our collective storytelling efforts.
Leveling for NFTs will be owner-specific, and if you buy/trade/sell your Mechavax to another wallet, you risk losing all progress. At this time, we are entertaining ideas for "loaning" or selling fully upgraded NFTs that have already minted their Pilot License, but no promises for this functionality will be made for the foreseeable future.
Mechavax will be able to utilize Hangar to allow group staking for PvP/PvE content for increased SHK gains. Hangar 2.0 will allow the staking of Ascended Mechavax. We believe that this can lead to some interesting gameplay and will reward the creation of Guilds, DAOs, and other groups that will be able to keep Ascended rewards for themselves. We are going to enable Ascended Hangars to be token-gated, with the first one being strictly for the community.
After much deliberation, we have walked back a previous statement and have decided to mint the first Ascendant ourselves, using our whole treasury to do so. There was a snapshot after the Joepegs mint ended and all wallets that minted or have bought/sold/traded a Mechavax-related NFT are going to be rewarded. They will able to stake their Mechavax in the Ascended Hangar for increased % SHK generation. The pool will have a 50/50 split, with one side being strictly for current Pilot License holders and another side for every address that was active during the minting period on Joepegs. PL holders will have the advantage of being able to use a less saturated side of the pool to gain an increased % in rewards.
This is one of the last stages of the planned part of Phase One for the Mechavax Universe. It will introduce The Daomyo (NFT DAO), which will govern parts of the Cradle, our invite-only NFT launchpad, as well as all DMG Art Creation and Artist acquisition. This DAO will be the first of its kind on Avalanche, and will influence the future of NFT projects by acting as a market maker and curator.
DAPP Pilot NFTs will be membership PFPs for our DAO. They will have access to voting rights, early mints, free mints, airdrops, and more from our NFT studio (Cradle) that will focus on bringing talented 1/1 artists to Avalanche from other chains. The Daomyo will become the de-facto tastemaker on chain.
